MHS’ first quarterly luncheon took place on Feb. 7, attended by students, faculty and community members. Food was prepared and served by culinary students while other student leaders gave short speeches about their activities. The main topics of discussion were recent renovations around campus and the upcoming accreditation. Chair of the Neighborhood Board Richard Poirier said, “People really put a lot of thought into this thing. It’s not just getting a bunch of community people, (asking) them a couple of questions and (sending) them home. It was good, very well thought out.”
