On Nov. 16 the Friends of the Library of Mililani hosted a book fair to raise funds for the Mililani Public Library. The book fair consisted of a variety of books that had been “withdrawn” or donated by the library and community, in addition to the numerous volunteers ranging from the MHS Leo club, Rotary club, Friends of the Library of Mililani volunteers and Mililani Rep. Marilyn Lee. The book fair was an event in which the Friends of the Library of Mililani gave back to the community and the environment. “We give people in the community an opportunity to recycle their books that they’ve read because they come here and they’re resold back to the community,” sad Lee.
