Volleyball Volunteer

On Feb. 21, the boys varsity volleyball team volunteered at the Plaza Assisted Living center in Mililani Mauka. As they interacted with the senior citizens there by playing games with them, the team hoped to show the necessity of community involvement. “(We volunteered) because we wanted to show because we are representing Mililani that we are more than just a sports team, we’re out there in the community and not just focused on our sports, we’re focusing on everything else that we want to represent,” said Senior Chason Uruu. The athletes also learned the importance of representing their team and MHS well while in the community. The volleyball team hopes to volunteer at the Plaza again in the future.
