Roads from Research

ROADS FROM RESEARCH. Senior Jared Au works with his professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa to solve Hawaii’s traffic problems. Au, along with 20 other students from around the island, including Seniors Tyler Villegas and Kolvin Kekua, were selected by the university to help engineers improve state roads between June 22nd and July 31st, such as the Kalaheo Intersection and the South King street bike lane by improving traffic flow. Au said: “It was nice to meet all the people, get a taste of college life and help the community.”
