After competing and taking first place in the annual MHS Shakespeare competition on Jan. 23, Senior Nicholas Howe placed third at the regional competition on Feb. 21.
“I felt like I put a lot of work into it and getting third place out of 16 people I think is a pretty good accomplishment,” Howe said.
In his future endeavors, Howe will be involved in several plays around the island. “First one being ‘Alice in Wonderland’ open in the last week of March with me as the Mad Hatter at Paliku Theatre. In the last week of April I’ll be in ‘Into the Woods’ with Saint Andrew’s Priory (School) theatre and I’m playing Prince Charming,” said Howe.
With the opening night of “Alice in Wonderland” quickly approaching, Howe is looking forward to the rest of his shows.
