St. Patricks Day is upon us, and what better way to celebrate March’s favorite holiday than with a delicious, fast and easy treat? Originally celebrated by the Irish, March 17 is marked as a celebration of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland who once spread his religious message using a three leaf clover, or in other words: a shamrock. Now, St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated world wide, with traditions such as the Green Chicago River, pinching friends who lack green festivities and even enjoying a tasty shamrock shake on the best day to go green. Here is a recipe to help you make and enjoy your very own shamrock shake!
