NEW YEAR, NEW CLUBS. This school year, MHS welcomes  new clubs into the collection of various existing organizations. Trojans Against Drugs and Alcohol, which actively work against substance use among the students, and Relay for Life, which works toward creating an annual walkathon to raise money for cancer research.  In addition, the club previously known as Aikea has now been renamed “Justice.”  The goal of these clubs is to give opportunities for students to be more involved both at MHS and in the larger community, as well as make lasting impacts on all involved. “I guess our main goal is to just put on a good event, something that people want to come back to so we can sustain the program and make it an annual thing,” said Relay for Life club co-adviser Tyson Kikugawa.
